What Trump Doesn't Understand

And no one bothered to tell him.

MAGA - It was a great ideal; obviously the motto resonated with enough people to get him elected to our highest office.

Why MAGA is crippling itself: because MAGA is really just MTGA (Make Trump Great Again). Let's face it: Trump has benefitted from Trump being President. I don't see America being Great Again. I see Trump and his cronies getting rich.

MAGA would have been a success if we had a leader who could back it up. That type of leader would have to be selfless - thinking AND acting on behalf of all Americans - or at least the vast majority of Americans.

It's not a hard ideal to understand or embrace. But it is hard(er) to implement.

Immigration - Yes, I can get support tightening our laws on immigration, people just can't walk through a river into Texas and receive all the benefits of America. But, people need a way to apply to become citizens that is doable. But, the shock-troop style street-level shootout that has been going on.

Foreign Trade - Yes, I think the USA should ensure that we are getting the best "deal" in global trade, but the nonsensical Tariff On / Tariff Off policy (also supported by DJT's TACO principle) has only created chaos. Chaos Theory has no place in business negotiations. I understand the principle of keeping your enemies on their toes, but that rarely helps in negotiations.

Trump is simple - he will do whatever is in HIS best interest. Trump will do whatever makes HIM money, increase is own belief of his actual popularity, or what he thinks will immortalize him with the Founding Fathers - who actually believed, worked, and died doing what was right for America.

These are the things that Trump doesn't understand - and no one bothered to tell him.
